He is survived by: his children, Robert Mathews (Rebecca) of Bristolville, Jason Mathews of Ravenna, Karey Baker of Southington and Michelle Wilfong of Hiram; and his siblings, Charles Mathews of Parkman, Patricia Paxton of Burton and Dorothy Fox of Chardon.
