Ronald Wilson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2021, at the age of 92, Ronald Wilson of Ravenna, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen E. Wilson (Klemm); his parents, Paul M. Wilson and Melva Belle Wilson (Culler); his brother Paul M. Wilson; and his nephews, Steve Wilson (Rosemary) and Bill Flinn.
He is survived by: his brother Walter S. Wilson (Dorothy); and his sibling's children, Linda Anderson (Dennis), Nancy Pryatel, Lori Jacek (Rick), Karen Johnson, Janet Hartley (Bruce), Scott Wilson (Lisa Pfeilsticker), Bruce Wilson (Lynne) and Greg Wilson (Beejay).
Ron continued showing horses up until the COVID pandemic hit last year.
In 1957, together with Sheriff Ross Jamerson and the Mounted Patrol, he and Eileen founded the annual Portage County Charity Horse Show, which they managed together for more than 50 years held at Sun Beau Valley Farm.
