He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan and Maria Karabin; and his siblings, Anne, Johnny and Peter.
He is survived by: his brother Dyak; his son Lieutenant Colonel Stephan P. Karabin II; his grandchildren, Elianna, Vera Rose and Owen Siemer; his child Dale; his brothers, Robert and Bill; and his wife Ola. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and his family.
