He is survived by: his wife Robin McKinniss (Huston); his children, Scott McKinniss (Annette), Heather Harford Marseilles (Steve) and Melinda Davies Gilpin (Vince); his grandchildren, Shelbee Ramirez (Nich), Sean Harford (Dakota), Michaela Alt, Monica McKinniss, Tyler McKinniss, Connor Gilpin, Colleen Gilpin, Kelsey Robison and Bailey Smith; his great grandchildren, Harper and Hayden Ramirez; his siblings, Sherman McKinniss (Carol) of Palm Desert, Hilda Stansbery of Xenia, Sheldon McKinniss (Marji) of LaRue, Ella Black of Marion, Carol Messenger of Forest, Arnold McKinniss (Bonnie) of Findlay, Ruth Henicle (Joe) of Woodlawn and Tim McKinniss (Jessica) of Findlay; his mothers-in-law, Donna McKinniss of Caledonia and Nancy McKinniss of Findlay; and his close friend Bella. He is also survived by his Nieces and Nephews.
