With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Louise (Jones) Cox-Hoodlet of Richwood, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Jones and Goldie Jones; her sisters, Anna Gwinner (Jones) and Ruth Williams (Jones); her children, Linda Cox, Lana Cox and Darryl Cox; her son-in-law Tony Yates; and her grandchildren, David Yates and Sara Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Cox (Emma Statts), Bill Cress (Becky Cox) and Rena Yates (Cox). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (201 S Franklin St, Richwood, OH 43344). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
