He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Ellsworth and Edith Frances Belt (Ellinwood); his siblings, Howard Paul Belt and Terry Lockwood; and his stepson Andy Beltz.

He is survived by : his wife Dianne Beltz (Yoder); his son Justin Tyler Belt; his stepchildren, Amanda Schultz and Daniel Robert Beltz (Angie); his daughter Betsy Hicks (Keith); his grandchildren, Kayla Jester (Nick), Dylan Beltz, Terra Beltz, Jacob Belt, Brooklyn Belt, Landon Hicks and Katey Hicks; and his great grandchild Aiden Hicks.
