He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Gast and Beulah Gast (McLain); his wife Ruby Gast; and his brother Jerry Gast. He is survived by : his son Richard Thomas Gast, Jr. of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; his stepsons, Gary Heaton of North Carolina and Jerry Heaton of North Carolina; and his siblings, Donna Fulton of Ripley, Rhonda Moran of Ripley and Gene Gast (Kathy) of Ripley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
