She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Massie and Estella Massie (Hodge); her husband Vernon L. Winchell; her children, Phyllis J. Beckett (Herman) and Laurence Johnson; her grandson Scot Beckett; and her siblings, Cabell Burgess Massie (Della), Lloyd Massie (Janie), Charles Massie (Hannah), Frederick James Massie, Jr. (Loretta), Maxine Pelfrey (Cecil), Vivian Clotine Meredith (Herman), Ardith Boyes (Merle), Revel Lemmon (William), Bertha and Ryland.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jason Winchell (Dara) of Copley, Lisa Winchell of Rittman and Ryan Beckett (Amber) of Wadsworth; her great grandchildren, Julia, Damon Winchell of Copley, Ryan Beckett, Jr. and Cheyene Beckett; and her brother-in-law Duane Ryland of Rittman.
