He was predeceased by: his wife Gail; his daughter Myrna Jewell; his brother Virgil Henthorn; and his son-in-law Ralph Shaffer. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Shaffer of Rittman; his granddaughter Patricia Beltz (Craig) of Rittman; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Madison and Mackenzie Beltz; and his sister Edna Mae Truex of West Virginia.
