She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Long and Helen Long (Csonder); and her brother-in-law Louis LaPaglia. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence E. Owens; her children, Shannon Reed of Chandlersville, OH, Heather Hanifan of Wooster, Julie Edwards of Huntington, TN and Shane Owens (Heather) of North Canton; her sister Theresa LaPaglia of Wadsworth; and also Doylestown.
