He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorothy Pleban; his parent Sigmund Pleban; and his child Richard, Jr. (Angela). He is survived by: his parent Marcella Pleban; his children, Deborah Colon (Jose), Rachel Mays (Richard) and Rebecca Ludwig (Paul); and his siblings, Frances Rice, Ronald, Marcella and Barbara Bazar.
