Batson (Rittman, Ohio), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Battistone and Mary Battistone (Murphy); his former wife Joan Battistone; his son Tom Batson; and his siblings, Robert Battistone and Eileen Pineman.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Batson of Concord, NC, Greg Hahn (Fiona) of Tehachipi, CA, Doug Hahn (Jeanetta) of Wooster, Carole Blair (Bob) of Akron, Susan Beck (Richard) of Spartanburg, SC and Tammy Miller (Tom) of Seville; and his sisters, Dorothy Muratore (Nicholas) of Smithtown, NY and Marilyn DiRenzo (Augie) of Muttontown, NY.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home or LifeCare Hospice.
