Martha Sidenbender Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Sidenbender of Rockford, Ohio, born in Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Shaffer (Pete) and Velma Hisey Shaffer; and her siblings, Glenn (Donna), Robert, Thurman (Virginia), Basil (Wilma), Leland (Pauline), Don (Norma), Charles (Patricia), Leo Jr. Shaffer (JoAnn) and Mary Shaffer DeLong.
She is survived by: her spouse Jonny Sidenbender; her daughters, Karen Nuttle (Casey) of Rockford, Kaye Ross (Kevin) of Rockford, Kelley Hager (Brian) of Kettering and Karla Butler (John) of Rockford; her brothers-in-law, Tommy Sidenbender (Barb) of Rockford and Nick DeLong of Antwerp; and her grandchildren, Jordan Ross (Alison), Grant Ross (Jasmine), Eric Bills, Kristin McDorman (Chris), Andy Hager (Stephanie), Drew Ross (Brad Hansman), Craig Bills (Lisa), Michael Nuttle (Alaine), Ben Hager (Amanda Amburgey), Joe Hager (Irene Brooks), Krista Baer (Tom) and Shaun Butler. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the following: Grand Lake Hospice, Parkway Music Boosters or the Rockford United Methodist Church New Building Fund in Martha's memory.
