He was predeceased by : his father James W. Shelt. He is survived by : his mother Virginia Shelt; his wife Kathy Shelt (Wrucha); his daughters, Julie Hagans (Joe) and Christy Gauthier; his grandsons, Brandon Bihn (Aubrey LaVoie), Ethan Gauthier, Nate Gauthier and Tony Hagans; his brother William Shelt (Mary); and his sister-in-law Pamela Allen (Rick). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
