He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gale Herringshaw and Edna Herringshaw (Pike); his children, Nancy Kahlenberg (Roger) and Joe Herringshaw (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kristen Meyer (Jon), Kerri Castlen (Joey), Mark Kahlenberg (Deana), Tyler Herringshaw (Katie) and Andrew Herringshaw; and his siblings, Beverly Lehtomaa and Rodger Herringshaw.

While the family wishes to celebrate Vic's life, concerns for the health and well-being of friends and extended family are being considered due to COVID-19.

Donations can be made in his memory to South Liberty United Methodist Church or Wood County 4-H Endowment Fund.
