He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wise (Jake) and Sarah Margert Wise (Farley); his son Sidney Roland Wise; and his sisters, Hilda McDaniel, Thelma Jean Danner and Carol Hayman.
He is survived by: his wife Joann (Gilmore); his daughters, Etta Wise (Sis) and Rebecca Stewart (Greg); his grandchildren, Heather White (Jeff), Jessica Smith and Brian Durham Jr. Cassandra (Kayla Adams); and his great grandchildren, Ella Smith, Malakai Durham, Case Smith, Hunter White, Sophia and Lilli Durham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
