He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray C. Adams and Lillie Mae Adams; his wife Jane Harris Adams; and his siblings, Richard, Raven, Faye, Neil, Loman 'Gene' and Bernice Adams.

He is survived by : his sons, Jerry (Deanna Adams) and Mike (Shawna Adams); his grandchildren, Mitchell Adams (Kelsey), Kalina Campbell (John) and Hannah Morgan (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Gwenivere Adams, Elsie Campbell and Baby Adley Mae Morgan; his brothers, Maurice Adams and Victor Adams (Susan); his sisters-in-law, Goldie Adams, Rose Adams, Donna Adams and Naomi Adams; and his niece Barbara Colthar (Jim).
