It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edric Costain Jr. of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edric and Hazel Virginia Knight Costain, Sr.; his siblings, Hazel Virginia McIntire, Mary Isabella Fox, Elizabeth Jane Martin-Warrick and Russell Lyons Costain; and his grandson Brian Costain.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Louise Roscoe Costain of St. Clairsville; his children, Joseph Edric Costain, III (Ellen) of Toms River, Jerry Lee Costain (Charmaine) of Ligonier and Jacquelyn Louise Greenwood of St. Clairsville; his sister Donna Jean Herrlein of Brilliant, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Douglas Costain (Layla), Caleb and Cara Greenwood. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Church (67667 Warnock-St. Clairsville Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
