He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold P. "Bud" Applegarth and Ruth L. Kelley Applegarth; his granddaughter Destiny Deavers; his brother William J. Applegarth; and his nephews, Robbie Wallace and James Dean Applegarth.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Manhollan Applegarth; his son Cody Applegarth (Jeananne) of St. Clairsville; his stepchildren, Joseph Bland (Melitta) of Georgia and Raylene Riggs (Doug) of Follansbee; his grandchildren, Angelina Applegarth, Jordan, Dakota, Mikel, Caity, Dominique, Iris, Lena and Mackenzie; his siblings, Robert Applegarth (Barbara) of Adena, Clayton Applegarth of Fort Wayne, Wayne Applegarth (Janet) of Flushing, Ohio, Sharon Wallace (Robert) of St. Clairsville and Ruth Ann Sullivan (George) of Bridgeport, Ohio; and his sister-in-law Lori Applegarth of New Athens, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home (172 S Main St, Cadiz, OH 43907). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
