Chester Leroy Gause Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chester Leroy Gause of Saint Louisville, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Chester Leroy left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Dewitt and Maxine Elizabeth Gause (Fisher); and his brother Clarence Schellenbarg. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Gause (Shepard); his children, Christopher Gause (Rebecca), Leta Meyer (Nicholas) and Craig Gause (Laci); his grandchildren, Grady, Adrienne, Griffin, Tessa Meyer, Gabriella Gause, Grayson and Eloise Gause; and his siblings, Gloria Longfellow (Larry), Robert Schellenbarg (Angie), Donald Gause (Tina), Julie Neldon and Rose Mason (Clifford). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Eden Cemetery.
