He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Kirkwood and Myrtle Kirkwood (Fenton). He is survived by: his wife Leila Kirkwood; his children, Westly Kirkwood (Bonnie), Dan Kirkwood (Laura) and Patty Kramer (Lance); his grandsons, Benjamin Kirkwood, Christopher Kirkwood, Jacob Kirkwood and Robert Kirkwood; his sister Norma Ross (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Sherry Wemer and Roger Baringer; and his close friend John Edwards. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center located at 1899 W. Garfield Rd, Columbiana, OH 44408.
