He was predeceased by : his father Maloy; and his stepfather Dr. Ralph B. Vance. He is survived by : his mother Sheryl Lynn Vance; his wife Sara Lois Michaels (Furrer); his children, Tara Plegge (Robert) of Salem, Haley Michaels of Salem and Kelsey Michaels of Salem; his grandchildren, Jackson Moore and Laylianna Plegge; and his siblings, Timothy Michaels of Savannah, GA and Kerry Ann Vance of Salem.
