He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Gingo; his wife Margrette "Peg" Blanton (Pusateri); his son Gerald Thomas Blanton; and his son-in-law Keith Porter. He is survived by: his children, Scott Blanton (Penney), Sherry Porter and Steven Blanton (Pattie Howell); his grandchildren, Jeff Blanton (Kristin), Kelli Link (Aaron), Holly, T. J. (Kelly), Derrick Blanton, Katie, Kyler Porter, Shawn Ryan, Ashley Beddow, Matt Turner (Lisa) and Jaret Steele; his great grandchildren, Macy, Cade, Chace, Graden, Stone, Baela, Axton, Baylor, Rolan, Peyton, Hudson, Piper and Teagan; his brother-in-law Thomas Pusateri Jr. (Trudy); his sibling's children, Tammy Puckrin (Steve) and Todd Pusateri (Judy); and his close friend Judy Knudsen.
