He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Elswick and Opal Elswick; his brothers, Gene, Carl and Roy Elswick; and his son-in-law Joseph Filipiak.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Elswick (Sis); his children, David Elswick (Vicki) and Kimberly Filipiak; his grandchildren, Kylin Elswick (Kourtney), Charles Elswick (Hayley), Zerica Filipiak and Zachary Filipiak; his great grandchildren, Kadin and Knox Elswick; and his siblings-in-law, Don Carroll and Rebecca Harris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to St. Jude's Foundation 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
