He was predeceased by: his parents, George Strohm and Lynnetta Strohm (Meyer); his wife Joyce A. Strohm (Andres); his daughter-in-law Sheila Strohm; and his sister Janice Hush.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Ross (Paul) of Marblehead, OH and Jeff Strohm; his grandchildren, Jason Ross (Melissa), Michael Ross (Lynn), Philip Ross (Sara), Jeffrey Schweinfurth (Ashlea), Jessica Parton (Adam) and Jeremy Strohm; and his sibling's children, Ruth "Sis" Burger and Jerry Stacey. He is also survived by five great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.
Memorial contributions in Gary's name may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police.
