She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester E. Smith and Minnie K. Smith (Eckstein); her husband James H. McCoy Sr.; her son James H. McCoy Jr.; and her siblings, Esther Smith, Mildred Copeland (Earl), Miriam Stoodt (Paul), Ruby Schimpf (Robert), Earl Smith (Arlene) and Roger Smith (Rose).
She is survived by: her sons, David McCoy (Vickie) of Columbus and Larry McCoy (Carol) of Huron; her grandchildren, Heather McCoy, Jason McCoy (Tiffany), Steven McCoy (Sandy), Amy Cecil (Jason) and Kelly Kochendoerfer (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Camden McCoy, Kelsey McCoy, Lacey McCoy, Raegan McCoy, Katie Cecil, Jackson Cecil, Kyle Kochendoerfer, Rachel Kochendoerfer, Jonas Kochendoerfer and Quinn Kochendoerfer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (116 S Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875).
