It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Gegner of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolland Carl and Mildred Violet Gegner (Greene). She is survived by: her children, Kristin Van Blarcum and Kirk Van Blarcum (Jen); her granddaughter Evelyn Van Blarcum; and her brother Lawrence C. Gegner.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Marcus P. Tremmel Scholarship, c/o Sandusky Central Catholic School, 410 W. Jefferson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
