He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Eileen Richard; his brothers, Lawrence, Timothy and John Richard; and his children, Hal Richard III (Janice), Stephen Richard (Mindy), Sara Brumbaugh and Melissa Karlovetz (Philip). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
