It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don W. Rutherford of Russellville, Ohio, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rutherford and Faye Rutherford (Prickett); his granddaughter Emma Grace Harner; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Thomson and Dale Yockey.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Rutherford (Yockey); his children, Abbe Copple of Waverly, Ohio, Blake Rutherford (Beth Fetters) and Jody Harner (Stephen) of Xenia, Ohio; his grandson Patrick Copple (Maiya); his siblings-in-law, Joan Yockey and Ronald Lee Yockey; and his close friend Donald Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (10581 Day Hill-Arnheim Rd, Georgetown, OH 45121). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery (10581 Day Hill-Arnheim Rd, Georgetown, OH 45121).
