He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Messer (Denise Braden) and Ronald Messer; his grandchildren, Rodney Jr., Ashley, Garrett and Ryan; and his siblings, Patricia A. Messer Wade (Larry), David Messer, Shirley Messer (Jerri Brinson), Mark Messer (Almeda), Nell Messer Miracle (Jimmy Asher), Fay Hunley and Kay Schulte. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
