He is survived by: his children, Jonathan D. Penix of Portsmouth, Benjamin Franklin Penix of Michigan, Christopher Corey Morrison (Kelli) of Franklin Furnace, Myrakal Penix of Portsmouth, Nikita Morrison of Portsmouth, Anna Chenault of Portsmouth and Tiffany Sparks of Portsmouth; and his sisters, Gail Harris of Portsmouth and Kathy Penix of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
