He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilmon Wesley and Norma June Speer (Plotts); and his son Jeromy Paul Speer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Speer (Knott); his son Joshua Stephen Speer (Cat); his grandchildren, Samantha June Speer, Jeromy Tilmon Speer and Steven Robert Speer of Dover; his stepson Jeffrey Moser (Alexis) of Kidron; and his brothers, David Speer (Penny) of New Philadelphia, Rand Speer of Columbus and Philip Speer (Doreen) of Canton.
