He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. Geren and Bertha I. Geren (Brown); his wife Mary E. Rhodes; his stepson Dale Stauffer; and his brother Gene E. Geren.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Brandt (Matt) of Ney, Ohio; his granddaughter Linzi Graber; his stepchildren, Deb Sims (Maury) of Ney, Steve Stauffer of Ney, Cathy DeRossett (Ed) of Sherwood and Kelly Mitsch (Randy) of Butler, Indiana; and his friend Forest "Corky" Dietrich of Ney, Ohio.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
