She was predeceased by : her husband Garfield Ringer, Jr.; her children, Barbara, Paul, Lavern Ringer and Shirley Thompson; and her siblings, George Jr. and Sadie Williams.
She is survived by : her daughters, Janet Smith (Ezell) and Jacqueline McDonald; her granddaughters, Carmen Smith-Ajayi (Dare) and Renee Ringer; and her son-in-law Roger Thompson. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
