He was predeceased by : his parents, Myron Steiner and Ruth Steiner (King); his daughter Karyn Steiner Lehmann; and his siblings, David Steiner and Linda Steiner Dotson.

He is survived by : his wife Harlene Hicks; his son Jason Steiner (Tamara Haught) of Wooster; his grandson Philip Lehmann of Boston; his brother John Steiner (Patti) of Creston; and his son-in-law Joseph Lehmann (Donna) of Wolfeboro, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
