He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Coakley and Norma B. Coakley (Brown); and his brother Danny Lee Coakley. He is survived by: his sons, Austin of Junction City and Andrew of Texas; his grandchild Hart of Texas; his siblings, Tim (Joel) of South Bloomingville and Melanie of South Bloomingville; his sister-in-law Sheila of South Bloomingville; his nieces, Tina of Cleveland, Lydia of Logan, Jennifer of Laurelville, Trinity of Laurelville, Crystal of Chillicothe and Leah of Lancaster; his brothers, Joey Lee and Timothy James; and his nephews, Ted, Will, Blake, Trenton, Grant, Josh, Isiah and Mike.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wellman Funeral Home (16451 OH-56, Laurelville, OH 43135). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Otterbein Cemetery.
