He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Vaughn and Remona Vaughn (Lanier); his brother Don Vaughn; his mother-in-law Peggy; and his grandmother Hosey.

He is survived by : his children, Kristy Vaughn (John Miller) and Andy Vaughn (Corey); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Kaitlyn, Nick, Lexi, Braden and Devan; his great grandchild Hudsyn; the mother of his children Teresa Vaughn; his brother Roger Vaughn (Malinda); his siblings-in-law, Kim Vaughn and Edward Hosey; and his close friend Steve Schumaker.
