He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Fredrick and Rose Ann Brumfield Hutchison; his wife Peggy Sue Whaley Hutchison; and his siblings, Alice Bowen, Anna Louise Hutchison and Perry Hutchison.

He is survived by: his children, Sebrina Lambert (Scott), Angela Daniel (Deborah) and Carl Hutchison, II (Nikki); and his siblings, Pansey Albright, Della Rigney and Ivan Hutchison. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
