It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mayenschein (South Point, Ohio), born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Ward and Irena McDaniel Ward; her husband John G. Mayenschein; and her son James Rodney Mayenschein. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Jean Whitney (Keith) of Nelsonville, Virginia Lee Hackworth (Cecil) of South Point, Jonda Ann Chapman (Jarvis) of South Point, Ohio, Charles G. Mayenschein (Norma) of Chesapeake, Carl Mayenschein (Doris) of Proctorville, Darrell Mayenschein (Betty Lou) of South Point and David Mayenschein (Sherry) of Logan, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
