She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Layne and Martha Ann Ward Layne; and her sisters, Clydia Jo Layne McDavid and Victoria Lynn Caudill. She is survived by: her children, William Michael Layne of Bowling Green, Jeremy Andrew Layne of South Point, Kenneth Allen Carter of Ashland and Prudence Alicia Layne of Ashland; the father of her children Michael Carter of Olive Hill; and her brothers, Billy Layne of Reddington, Patrick Layne of Huntington, Jeffrey Layne of South Point and Kevin Layne of Ashland. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
