He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jones and Roxie Jones; his wife Johnna Jean Eaton Jones; and his siblings, Fayette Jones, Levi Jones, Alvin Jones, Holice Jones, Mattie Walker, Sarah Combs, Thelma Autore, Burnice Jones, Bonnie Jones, Dolly Jones and Elva Winters.
He is survived by: his son Gregory E. Jones (Ella); his grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Caleb Jones and Lucy Gannon; and his great grandchild Charlotte Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
