He was predeceased by: his parent James Edward; and his sister Mildred "Millie" Peck. He is survived by: his parent Josephine M. McKeny; his son Todd McKeny (Jessica) of Barboursville, WV; his stepdaughter Kasey Clay-Ford (James) of Branchland, WV; his grandchildren, Mika Nicole McKeny, Robert, Isabella and Dakota Ford; his sisters, Jackie Stickler and Essie McKeny; and his siblings' children, David Smith, Daniel Smith, Melissa Short, Tammy Blake, Jason Mckeny and Samantha Mckeny-Thomas.
