She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Rood and Henrietta Gee Rood; her husband Coy Boyd Ashley; and her siblings, Susie Thelma Wilburn and Orville Gee.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Ashley of South Point, OH and Coy Slaton of South Point, OH; her sibling's children, Rick, Tim and Jackie; and her close friends, Dale, Brandi Jackson and Tony Fetters.
