She was predeceased by: her parents, James, Sr. Layne and Mamie Layne; her former husband Harvey Ratliff, Jr.; her sons, Ronald Ratliff of Va and Randall Ratliff of Ironton; and her siblings, James Layne, Jr., Charles Layne, Simeon Layne, Mattie Layne and Ruth Layne.
She is survived by: her husband Ken King; her daughters, Bonnie Jones and Susan Runyon (Brad) of South Point; her grandchildren, Scott Jones (Amy) of Ironton, Christi Ray (Steve) of Zanesville, Michael Ratliff (Erin) of Virginia Beach, Michael Brown (Jackie) of South Point, Amber Weaver (Dylan) of Houston, Randall Ratliff (Leah) of Fort Worth, Beth Henry of Tennnesse, Krista Lackey (Michael) of Grove City and Miranda Keefer (Caleb) of South Point; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Garrett Ratliff, Andrew, Valerie, Jazmin, Isaac Jones, Aliyah Brown, Raegan, Jackson, Mason Lackey, Sadee and Haylee Ratliff; and her foster brother Paul Runyon (Juanita).
