He is survived by: his wife Sharon Frazer Delong; his children, Erica Jane Delong and Walter Delong, II; his brothers, Jack Delong (Sharon) and Don Delong (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Rick Frazer (Rose), Keith Frazer (Susan), James Cochran (Judy), Vicki Lehman (Jay) and Sandy Carty; his grandchildren, Brianna Bridges, Brigham Bridges and Wade Delong; and his great grandchildren, Addleigh Allen and Caysen Allen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
