She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith and Rosa Gibson Smith; her husband Walter O. "Doc" Smith; her son Lynn Smith; and her siblings, Janice Bowers, Esther McKelvy, Melbourne Smith, Wayne Smith and Clyde Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Zehring (Fred), Peggy Smith and Connie Miller (Larry) of Spring Valley; her grandchildren, Amy Zehring, Kevin Zehring (Jessicah), Megan Zehring, Greg Zehring, Melissa Clair (John), Jessica Waddle (Travis) and Nathan Miller; her great grandchildren, Levi, Lily, Gwen, Will, David, Carey, Evey and Kate; and her brothers, Glen Smith (Sally) and Everett Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
