He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sackett and Corrine Sackett (Keller); and his brothers, James "Jim" Sackett and Wendell Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Melba Sackett (Smith); and his daughter Mechele Cremeans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
