He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Peterson and Beatrice Hundley Peterson; and his siblings, Arthur Peterson, Katherine Holverstott, Ralph Peterson and Juanita Varvel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Peterson (Darner); his children, Darrell Peterson (Angela) and Dayne Peterson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Asa Peterson (Nancy) of Cleveland, NY, Levi Peterson (Drue) of Beavercreek, Elijah of Beavercreek, Alexandra Folkerth of Beavercreek, Haley Hutchins of Beavercreek, Victor Peterson of Beavercreek and Max Peterson of Beavercreek; his great grandchildren, Flynn Peterson and Cora Peterson; and his sister Barbara Peterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
