He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Walko Powell; his daughters, Kelly Powell and Amy; his son-in-law Grant Burns; his grandchildren, Sara Coughlan, Christian Coughlan, Megan Coughlan and Kristen Petrosky; his siblings-in-law, Judy Walko Goldman and Robert Goldman; and his brother William Powell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Church in support of the pipe organ repair.
