He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Irvin, Laura Kirby, Q. S. Harris and Martha Harris Hewitt; his parents-in-law, Harold and Goldie Wagers; and his aunt Lois Elliott.
He is survived by: his spouse Dana Kirby (Wagers) of Springboro; his children, Jacob Chandler Kirby of Springboro, Ohio and Caitlyn Paige Kirby of Springboro, Ohio; his parents, Carl Kirby and Glenda Kirby (Harris) of London, Kentucky; his sister Carla Kennett (Clay) of London, Kentucky.; and his nephews, Michael Lee Kennett of Lexington and Blake Kennett of London, Kentucky..
The family of Derek Lee Kirby will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The American Heart Association.
